I ordered by phone, without ever seeing the place, but knew I wanted ichibana-style centerpieces for a private bd party at SFYC. Went online and found this place to have rave reviews. (NO idea why other google review just gave 3 stars. Impossible!) Kaori was amazing: took LOTS of time over the phone determining what I wanted, v. eager to please, offering suggestions, calling me back when customers arrived. It was Kaori's suggestion that maybe we'd like 4 DIFFERENT arrangements in the same type of style and we were amazed at how absolutely gorgeous her designs were, adding beautiful flowers and very simple greens to the manzanita branches in the (surprisingly!) really beautiful bowls. (I'd wanted to put the money into the arrangements, not the containers.) I have never received nor sent such beautiful flower arrangements. Our experience with Kaori was for Asian floral design, but with her skill, love of design, and beautiful stock, we are convinced that she can produce ANYTHING! I took a chance, site unseen, and Kaori's skill made everyone gasp at the arrangements the evening of our party. From ordering to delivery and set-up, this place was flawless. Kaori is now our "go-to" person for any flower giving in the Bay Area!
PS 3 weeks after the party, I am still getting blooms on the 2 stalks of amaryllis she included in the arrangement we took home!
