When I was broke and staying with friends in my former Co-Op, I will remember the woman who offered me an entire bouquet of white tulips. My mother passed in late August. I grew up going to Catholic school on 18th &Shotwell ~ high school w/amazing women on Guerrero and 24th....Mom and I loved the city, loved each other...and the mission. We watched multiple films at the New Mission Theater every week. Those tulips mean everything on her birthday. Thank you. Your kindness won't be forgotten. This is a precious memory I'll never forget.
