Love this restaurant! I went there last Sunday and did not wait long. (But the line was very long when I left) I had the pork belly, which is really good. It seems a bit fat and scary but the crispy outer layer was soooo good. I actually finished the whole plate eventually because it tasted so good.

Maybe I'm not high society enough to appreciate the food ( I just don't see the point in spending $28 for two shrimp), but I certainly understand poor service. While the dinning area was fine, although cramped, and the waiter was kind and helpful, two times our order was forgot. That's two times too many for this prestige of dining. Once at the beginning, but we were still charged, and again at desert for a digestive drink. You're certainly not going there to fill up, but with the portions so small your stomach knows when your food doesn't come. I would stick to L&L for Hawaiian food that will fill you up and not leave your wallet emptier than your stomach.
